Abstract
Coming from a strict evangelical community in Birmingham, Alabama, I was driven by curiosity to question my upbringing's narrow worldview. Now, my art explores faith, sexuality, and identity through abstraction, influenced by queerness and "low theory." By challenging norms and embracing failure, I aim to spark curiosity and prompt viewers to rethink assumptions, fostering openness to new perspectives. Ultimately, I strive to inspire critical engagement and deeper reflection on the complexity of human experience.
