Abstract
There is a constant misinterpretation and underrepresentation of Asians in the movie and theater world. Often silenced or reduced to offensive stereotypes. Asian artists, writers, and performers are usually confined to token roles or excluded from mainstream productions altogether. Looking back at history and current day, this discrimination is still ongoing and it needs to be brought to light
