Abstract
This senior project discusses artistic aims for performance work on Gunshot/Doorslam, journalling goals, character work, and addressing needs in actor's preparation.
The research paper Theatre as a Contested Space, attempts to understand the theatrical space through Setha M. Low and Denise Lawrence-Zúñiga's perspective on spatial relationships, and how their ideas in The Anthropology of Space and Place apply to the work of representation in theatre.
Technical Essay reflects on the experience of production of Gunshot/Doorslam, learning from the cast and crew members, and the ways in which theatre production has been impacted since the outbreak of COVID-19.
