This study attempts to examine the issue of identifying and placing students in gifted programs, and the impact of such practices on self-concept. The purpose was to determine whether or not there were any significant differences in the self-concepts of students participating in a resource program for the academically talented and a comparable group of students not enrolled in the program.Description
