    Abstract
The experimenter proposes that students “Academic Performance" in science class will increase significantly if parents are told what their children are expected to know at the end of each week. Parents will be encouraged to act as study partners by asking specific questions related to classwork. Parents will also fill out a weekly survey related to their child's study habits and family interests. Students will receive a Study Guide and a weekly Time Management Log which is designed to assist parents in answering questions on the Parental Survey. Students’ "Classroom Behavior" will improve along with their attendance in relation to the level of "Parental Involvement". A daily Student Behavioral Continuum Log will be kept for both the control group and the experimental group during the first two weeks of the study. This continuum will measure homework, classwork, class participation, note taking, classroom conduct and preparedness. The students will be measured on a scale of 1 to 10 during this time period.
