dc.description.abstractThrough tutoring sessions, it was noticed that a student with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder was struggling to write a paragraph. This research study explores the influence the Self-Regulated Strategy Development had on the student’s writing and opinion’s of writing. This was a qualitative study focusing on the experiences of both the tutor and student during the tutoring sessions. Through observations and interviews during the tutoring sessions, it was founded that this particular student had a positive attitude toward writing. In addition, the student grew as a writer yet continued to struggle with self-regulation and goal setting.
