dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this qualitative research study is to explore the role of reading motivation, reading engagement, and text choice when working with a struggling reading in middle school.. By exploring how specific factors influence struggling readers, through this study, teachers will be able to have a better understanding as to the importance that motivation and engagement play in working with struggling readers in middle school.
