dc.description.abstractThis paper explores various literacy techniques that can be used to motivate and engage students to read. The literacy techniques examined were student choice, student interest, rereading with a purpose, and book discussions. A case study was conducted to determine whether or not these techniques increased reading engagement and motivation.
