dc.description.abstractThe Rivero Modern Dance Technique, which incorporated elements of the Graham Technique to serve as a model, developed out of Afro-Cuban folk forms. It is not widely known outside of Cuba. This study proposes to analyze this technique and to show its uniqueness in style and form.
