dc.description.abstractThis research involves finding ways through communication and collaboration to reduce adverse drug events/medication errors in healthcare. Through implementing leadership amongst healthcare professionals, medication safety would increase. This is a literature review of various articles and books about leadership, communication in healthcare, and adverse drug events. Adverse drug events can be reduced if health professionals in various healthcare facilities are routinely allowed to attend training workshops focused on communication, collaboration, and leadership development.
