This study examined the use of Twitter in an online learning environment involving graduate students who are part of an online Master of Science degree program in Information Design and Technology. The study found that Twitter did not have a significant impact on the sense of community in a course, nor did it have much bearing on students' choice for a particular section of a course.Collections
