Open Access Publishing: Why, When and How

Open Access publishing enables wide access to scholarly work, increases author citations, and strengthens the college’s institutional reputation. Brockport implemented an open access policy for journal articles in 2018. This session will discuss the policy, benefits and the process for depositing articles in the college repository, including a discussion of improvements for sustainability.
