El juego lucido y los códigos del fútbol argentino

Abstract

Resumen:Este artículo analiza el estilo de juego nacional imaginado en Argentina en relación a las limitaciones de aplicación impuestas por el ethos vigente en el fútbol de ese país. Para ello se implementa un marco teórico interpretivista. La conclusión es que la interpretación del fútbol inherente al estilo de juego argentino indica que el juego lucido es aceptable en todo momento del partido. Además, dicha interpretación también indica que el juego lucido sería susceptible de limitarse sólo cuando la lógica propia del fútbol lo sugiere y cuando el mismo se activa para humillar fuertemente al rival. Palabras claves: juego lucido, fútbol argentino, ethos, intepretivismo Abstract:This article uses an interpretivist theoretical framework to analyze Argentina’s imagined national style of play and the impositions the prevailing ethos in Argentine soccer culture poses on it. The main conclusion is that the interpretation of soccer inherent to the Argentine playing style indicates that sublime play is acceptable at all moments of a match. Reasons for limiting sublime play exist in two instances: when it contradicts the internal logic of soccer and when employed to strongly humiliate opponents.
