In this study, special education high school students were exposed to different examples of types of primary sources and were surveyed with their experiences with them. These students are not in a general education setting. The subjects are within a Boces district where they are in a high school rotation and are assessed by New York State Regents exams. These students were surveyed on if primary sources were useful in helping them understand the perspective of a soldier during World War II. Generally, students had a positive experience and considered that using primary sources was a learning experience.Collections
