dc.description.abstractThe paper discusses the newly implemented Final Rule for the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). Covering new museology practices and what NAGPRA means the paper discusses three museums that have been sighted for discussion since the update in NAGPRA language. The Field Museum, The American Museum of Natural History, and The National Museum of the American Indian are the three that have discussed and examined how they deal with repatriation, collect objects, and work with said objects.
