Mundane Animals

Abstract

For me seeing animals is a way to find beauty and enjoyment in the mundane. In "Mundane Animals" I talk about how seeing common animals in my everyday life has inspired my work. I like to emphasize the everyday and the cute with printmaking and sculpture. In my prints I do this my depicting these animals realistically. In my sculptures I do this by stylizing them in ways that speak on how that animal may be perceived by humans.
