During my summer research on the COMBLE project, I had the opportunity to do a WRF model simulation on a polar low (PL) case that occurred on 02/04/2020 during the DOE COMBLE project. The reasoning for this specific case was because of the structure of the system and overall intensity of it made for a good project. Observational datasets are used along with WRF simulations to study the characteristics of this PL case. Preliminary results will be presented to see how accurately WRF can recreate the PL case.
