Thunderstorms are common in the Great Lakes region, especially during summer time when an ample amount of heat and moisture is present in the lower atmosphere. As thunderstorms cross over the Great Lakes, the storm intensity may be altered due to interactions between lakes and thunderstorms. This research project is to investigate and interpret how the lake-surface temperature will affect the intensity of storms that are passing over the lakes.Collections
