Throughout a nurse’s career, they go through many different struggles and hardships. Most of these lead to mental health issues like compassion fatigue, burnout, or secondary traumatic stress. The purpose of this literature review is to explore the stress that oncology health care workers who are working with children are in and how it can affect their mental health. The objective of this is to allow others to become more aware, more prepared, and ways to prevent these mental health problems from happening.Accessibility Statement
