dc.description.abstract"Full of Thorns" is a senior thesis that explores my journey of self-discovery and expression as an artist. Rooted in the exploration of safe spaces, femininity, and resilience, the project challenges societal expectations and embraces the unknown. Through a process of leaving, one's comfort zone, the artwork is made to serve as a sanctuary for emotional expression, safe spaces, and growth. "Full of thorns" sets the stage for future processes in both my art, and social work where I will continue my journey to foster empathy and create spaces of safety for others.
