| dc.description.abstract | This show is a tribute to my grandfather who recently passed. It's a documentation following my journey of the grieving process while simultaneously flashing back to past family memories. The subjects within the photos are from times with my grandparents in Virginia and others are from now, depicting certain moments throughout my grieving process. Looking at past photos and creating this project under the gaze of an artist rather than a mournful one has allowed my mind to process his passing in a way that would've otherwise been all too painful for me. | |
