Abstract
My thesis explores themes of internals and externals in relation to the self and within the context of the human experience. My physical work is comprised of mainly ceramic objects that I refer to as pods with video and sound performance components. The work aims to pinpoint the awkwardness of being hyper-self-aware and the humor in being overly fixated on the self in the vast depth of the universe and beyond.
