This project is about how the Candy Land board game has evolved over time, with an emphasis on its origins as a game engineered towards accessibility for disabled children, and controversy around the most recent edition's redesign to include more diverse character portrayals. I talk to parents, teachers, professionals in the board game industry, art scholars and historians, about how this game has survived 65 years later. This is a continuing work intended as a sort of pitch / demo for a coffee table book on the subject.Accessibility Statement
