dc.description.abstract | "Meet Me In The Mourning" is a body of work built over the last year centering around the communal love and support that's integral to healing from deep loss and mourning; stepping away from the epicenter of recent loss into a more familiar relationship to grief is at the heart of this project. Drawing heavily from cultural mourning practices, it looks at the shape of absence, the space it takes and holds on to within the everyday. | |
