dc.description.abstract | This senior project focuses on the role of a production stage manager for an original one-act play--Room for Growth, written by Olivia Rose Perrone--with themes of queer identity, familial relationships, and what it means to be an artist. The work is supported by research based around personal interviews with transgender theatre-makers, exploring the supportive relationships between trans artists onstage vs. backstage. | |
