The purpose of this project is to give higher education website administrators a tool to help educate and train contributors to websites who may not have technology skills, but are required to adhere to laws governing web accessibility. This tool will consist of a website that users can visit to learn about web accessibility guidelines and see concrete examples of how to meet the guidelines. The site language will be straightforward and as simple as possible. The goals are to promote understanding of the laws and guidelines, educate the users, and through the use of a user voting system, increase the usefulness of the information over time by incorporating user feedback. The project goals will be accomplished by incorporating an approach that combines graphic design, web design, and web development.Citation
