Complement Factor H (CFH) and complement component (C ) are proteins responsible for helping the innate immune system to respond to pathogen clearance in the body and when misregulated can lead to autoimmune disorders. CFH is considered to be a possible regulator protein in this system whereas C activation is an essential step in the system&# ;s response. Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) was used to study the interactions between the two components allowing for the binding kinetics to be observed.Collections
