The United States education system is implicitly unequal, especially for low income families who live in urban cities across the country. This is manifested in multiple ways such as, school choice policies, charter's federal funding, and policies that reinforce bias. Black and brown students are not, and have not been serviced by the public school system and this is cultivating a huge gap in achievement for these children.Accessibility Statement
