I chose to write this paper because the Black community structure has historically been systematically destabilized since the era of the 19th century slavery, yet 95% of Americans don't understand on a technical level how this destabilization still exist. I chose to focus on what I will refer to throughout this paper as "Modern Slavery", where 20th century racism is consciously hidden and blurred throughout the Masses. This modern practice of slavery and cultural destabilization ranges anywhere from the projection of negative image , the education system, and laws and policies that directly affect people of color.Accessibility Statement
