Abstract
This is a memoir written in four voices meant to accompany and inform the studio driven work made for the MFA thesis. I wrote about my family, the town I grew up in, and some of the people I associated with during these formative years. The period I wrote about is relevant to my work because this was when I began to seek out ways and means to learn about and make art works.
