dc.description.abstract | In my senior project, I explore and compare the institutions of pederasty, or man-child relationships, in Ancient Greece as they were originally implemented. I explore the uses of power, control, teaching tactics, the imitations of pederasty, or the claims to them in varying cases, and most similar imitations, most prominently in the Catholic Church, which uncovered decades of underground sexual abuse and exposed its occurrence in the media. | |
