dc.description.abstract | In An Unceasing Journey: Togetherness, I share and talk about the hope of togetherness within my blended family. Each of my immediate family members will be represented in a monotype, with their favorite color being expressed as my base for each of these prints. An installation/ sculpture piece of a dining table with place settings will coincide with the monotypes as well. I am drawn to recreating my family table because I do not possess many memories of family dinners, even though, it is a vital part of growing up and I have always wanted that consistency in my life. This project serves as a motive for me to not only point out my observations, but to want to start my own traditions as well. | |
