    Abstract
The Dream Factory created a different world for all those who experienced it to live in, even if for a few hours one evening. Experiencing this myself night after night, it taught me a sense of creativity and openness to being bold. When I had learned a research essay was required for my senior project, I thought of a new way to find perspective within the characters, more than any academic paper ever would. I wanted to do something different. I wrote a twenty-five to thirty minute mockumentary revolving around the character I personally know most, International Velvet, or I.V. Writing this taught me what it is to see The Factory from my own lens, what I.V.'s perspective of others was, and showed me to respect screenwriters much more. The mockumentary begins with an explanation of filmmakers gaining permission to film in The Factory for one day, and I.V. insisted she would be the best "tour-guide" for these visitors. I.V. slowly introduces some members of The Factory as they wake up and begin their day. We learn the pathological lies I.V. creates in her free time, her insecurities, and what she finds amusing when she's by herself. We experience pranks, verbal fights, and an overall troublesome group of characters, that all are in The Factory for their own reasons.
