| dc.description.abstract | Somewhere between artificial and artifactual, ?something something sooomething? is (becomes) the "third space" la gorda, RoboCop/Murphy, and myself all occupy. It is an attempt to acknowledge my history while at the same time accept absence as a leading part of it. Within the gaps I am able to record and celebrate a history previously inaccessible to me in a way that feels more truthful to who I am and where I am. | |
