A scholarly account of the Senior production of Don't Wake Me Just Yet written by Tabetha Rosado, which was performed on March 14th,15th, and 17th of 2019 at SUNY Purchase College. Don't Wake Me Just Yet is a fantastical play following a young girl named Lilibeth and her recounting of a duel between her two fictional characters; the warrior of the Light side named Paragon, and the shape shifting raven king of the Dark called Manticore. The play holds themes of duality and understanding not only one another, but also the self and what it means to truly grow up. I wrote this play and took part as its stage manager. My research on psychology and the imagination comes into play through Lilibeth's fairytale and supports my overarching thesis: that the imagination and its archetypes can be broken down in order to understand the humans around us.Accessibility Statement
