In this project, I investigate and critique the simultaneous sexualization of young girls and the infantilization of adult women. Advertising and fashion create the impossible task of being "innocent and seductive, virginal and experienced" all at once. This "state of inbetweeness" perpetuated by pedophilic capitalism causes a blurring, ambiguous relationship for women and girls with their age, sexuality, and agency.Accessibility Statement
