I studied how the lack of proper representation of Asians in the media affects Asian Americans; more specifically how does the media portrayal of Asians influence the way Americans view Asians and Asian Americans. To collect data, I produced an online survey, through Typeform, using the Likert scale for Asian students on campus with questions pertaining to my topic and collected 30-40 responses. I also conducted a demographic questionnaire in the beginning of the online survey to collect background data on participants. Content analysis of previous studies with research relating to this topic and my research questions was also done.
