Bronx Men is a project that is meant to redefine how people think of the Bronx and its men. There are a lot of misrepresentation of Bronx men out there in the media and in the news outlets. I used Google's search engine to state that Bronx men are usually shown in a negative light. If you where to search Bronx men on Google you would mainly get mug shoots of men of color. I aim to change that by photographing them in a much more positive light. This photo series consist of 12 black and white images, most are portraits and others describe places and things. My hope is that when people would search for Bronx men, they wouldn't be displayed as they currently are now.
