dc.description.abstract	Far Away and Long Ago is a novella that looks closely at the complex mother-daughter relationship of Margaret and April. Margaret, a tightly wound woman, struggles to connect with and control her intelligent and defiant daughter April as the family grows and moves around the country throughout the years.
