It's a normal day at Lynwood High School, that is until Satan Jr. is sent from hell by his father. He quickly befriends a timid boy named Cameron after unintentionally fending off a bully that was bothering him. Fast forward to the post graduate life and Cameron is moving in with Satan or "Lu" as he later becomes nicknamed. After the two get into an argument about Satan Jr. immediately replacing Cameron with his girlfriend as a roommate, Cameron storms out. Lu then goes on a horrible date with his girlfriend, who, the whole time is miserable. After the date, she expressed how she truly feels and breaks up with him, leaving him heartbroken and depressed. As a result, he locks himself in his room. Later that night Cameron tries to make his way back into the apartment, but is unable to, after he realizes he left his keys inside the apartment, this, forcing him to sleep on the streets. At one point, Cameron sneaks Into an Ikea to avoid the streets. After some time, he finally makes his way into the building to confront Satan, but when he does, he sees the state of his friend and they end up going out to eat together and talk about what transpired. It is there where Lu has an epiphany, and wants to try and change himself. During this epiphany, Lu sees his family friend death in the restaurant, who is there to take the life of someone. After Cameron convinces Lu to call Death in order to take action towards his new resolution, he feels a sense of satisfaction, thus wanting to continue to do these things to be a better person. Death reports back to Lu's father " Satan Sr. who isn't pleased. He tells death to go back and find out what his son is up to.The next episode Death confronts Lu about what happened in the pizzaria the other day. Lu tells death that he is trying to be a better person, and that he is sick of doing his father's bidding. Later that day, After a terrible shift at work, Cameron goes with Lu to the airport to pick up their childhood friend Célia. After three reunite, and catch up after drinks, Célia finds out that Cameron works at the zoo, she explains her distaste for the institution. So much so that she decides to start a protest the next morning in front of the zoo. Cameron is opposed, but Satan drunkenly agrees to help. The next morning Célia put together a rather weak protest. But when Satan arrives, he reveals that he brought along several others for the cause. Célia is overjoyed, that is until she finds out that Lu misheard her and brought along people that were interested in participating in a riot, not a protest. Things quickly spiral out of control with the rioters and they try to break into the zoo. Cameron, who was cleaning the cage for the snow leopard, hears the commotion and, in a rush, leaves the side door ajar. After the rioters infiltrated the zoo, Cameron hides with his manager Patty in a shed. It is there where she hears that the leopard has escaped, and Cameron was to blame. Patty tries to get the leopard back into its cage, but was scared off in the process. The leopard then tried to attack Cameron, but Satan comes through just in time and subdues the jungle cat. After things settle down the trio go back to the apartment to watch the events on the news. It is there where Cameron finds out he has been fired. When death goes back to the underworld, he tells Satan Sr. that his son has had a change of heart. He tries to send death back to earth once more, but is advised that he should talk to Lu himself. In the third episode, Lu wakes Cameron up at an ungodly hour to help him practice. Forgetting he made this prior engagement he reluctantly wakes up, and they head to Brooklyn to play tennis . After Célia meets them there, and the trio starts practicing, Jesus Christ and his apostles roll through to taunt Lu. It is revealed that Lu will vs Jesus in a singles match. While he is taunting Lu, Jesus also tries to put the moves on Célia by inviting her out for some drinks. After watching him practice Célia begins to think that Lu doesn't stand a chance, especially since he won't use any of his dark powers, to adhere to his new moral stance. She decides to join JC for drinks, but not because she is interested in him, but because she plans on sabotaging him for the match the next day. She invites Cameron along as they hit the town. Célia's plan is to get Jesus so drunk that he would be unable to play. After several drinks she deems her plan a success since Jesus was hammered, and ditched him and his crew. The next morning it the two are at the match to support Lu, but the sabotage ended up failing, with Jesus in full health. The match starts and Lu is losing tremendously. Thinking all hope is lost Célia quickly conjures up another plan. She has the idea to use Judas, who is mistreated by Jesus, to put laxatives in his water bottle. After some convincing, Judas ends up betraying Jesus again. This plan end up working, with the laxatives throwing him off of his game. It gives Satan a chance to come back, but in the end he loses. Even though the match is lost he finds out what his friends did for him, and it is greatly appreciated. Lu received a text to call his father. After setting up a pentagram he two have a discussion. Lu finds out that his father wants to retire, but he can't do it if his "heir to the throne" isn't doing his job. This leaves Lu conflicted, and unsure of what to do next.Accessibility Statement
