Shifting Lenses explores constructions and deconstructions in relationship to the development and function of personal versus societal identity. Identity should be viewed through a macro and micro lens, focusing on how people work together for a larger ecosystem, while functioning as individual parts. We can never see ourselves objectively. What we know of ourselves, from looks to personality traits, derive from the lenses we use to look at ourselves. Lenses create and develop self consciousness.Accessibility Statement
