The inequalities in vaccine uptake can lead to outbreaks that further exploit the differences in health. Public health initiatives in the United States attempt to provide better vaccination coverage and awareness in response, but fail to reflect all inequalities. Public health inequalities are brought about as a result of various policies, differing socioeconomic status, and location. These inequalities affect populations in their own unique ways based on the interaction of their confounding lifestyle factors such as age, class, and accessibility to health sources.en_US
