Waiting for Antonio by Drew Palmer is a new play inspired by Waiting for Godot. It revolves around Val and Eddie, two college students in Washington Square Park who are waiting for their drug dealer Antonio to show up. In my research essay, I discuss both Godot and Antonio and the revising and adapting of past works. My artistic aims and my technical essay explore my dual roles as actor and co-producer as well as the bumpy but rewarding road to performance.
