This Theatre and Performance senior project consisted of directing an intimate production of Trifles by Susan Glaspell. Work on this production was a collaborative effort and the project was a success. In the research paper associated with this production I will be arguing how men have throughout the century seen women's roles as purely to serve men within a marriage. I will be examining family structure and women's roles within a marriage and the household over the last 100 years in America by looking at three specific periods of time in the last century.
