Abstract

In an isolated little village, townsfolk are being terrorized by a ravening monster and everyone must find a way to live with these destructive forces. For my senior project, I'd like to explore mental health and a search for Utopia. My character Nickel seems to have a problem wherever he seems to wander in that he's never satisfied. He's trying to make a revolution through his work, but even when he does what he sets out to do there's still a reluctance towards happiness for him. Is there ever an end point in the search for satisfaction? Can a constant feeling of dissatisfaction from your immediate conditions be detrimental to your mental health?
