This curriculum project was designed to create hands-on activities for students learning 7th grade probability. The project presents lessons that can be taught either sequentially or non-sequentially. The lessons encourage mathematical discourse, foster engagement from students, and will help build students’ motivation. Topics covered in these lessons include experimental versus theoretical probability, real-world contexts, likely versus unlikely, and small sample sizes versus large sample sizes.Accessibility Statement
