This senior project for the Spanish Language and Culture major includes a translation of a chapter from David Sedaris's breakout hit, Me Talk Pretty One Day. The project is also accompanied by a brief biography of the author and an analysis of the translation. The chapter chosen for this translation is called "See You Again Yesterday". The chapter explores themes of challenges and resilience as it tells the story of David's first time traveling to his boyfriend Hugh's hometown of Normandy, France. It details his difficulties learning the French language and living in Hugh's community.
