dc.description.abstracthis curriculum project was constructed to increase student engagement through partner work, games, and interleaved practice. This project presents exemplar lessons across Algebra I and Algebra II content that develop student-centered classrooms. Partner work, gamification, and interleaved practice can engage students and help them to develop their problem-solving skills. Four lessons present four unique games that use partner work followed by homework that presents interleaved practice. The lessons are non-sequential but are held together by a common theme of creating student engagement within the algebra classroom. The keys for all instructional materials are provided in the appendix.en_US
