Abstract
Set in the small village of El Dorado in Tunapuna, Trinidad and Tobago in the late 1970s. The story follows three daughters going through the motions of growing up in a country only a decade old. In a society where women are constantly in the cross-fire of consequences of their husband's actions, who will they become? And will they survive at all?
