dc.description.abstract | In recent years, anxiety has increased significantly amongst college students in the United states. Anxiety recently surpassed depression as the number 1 mental health disorders that effects college students. Academic stress, financial burden, social pressure, and post college uncertainty are among the leading causes of anxiety in students. The health implications resulting from anxiety are vast and have significant negative effects on academic performance and overall health. Possible causes for the increase in anxiety are the academic , financial, and social obligations which college presents. | |
